Sacred Rest began with an invitation from Yahweh—an invitation to create something that could help people step away from the noise, draw near to Him, and experience His presence in a tangible way.

The first Sacred Rest Shawl began with fabric, prayer, and an unexpected shape.
As the hexagonal design unfolded, so did its meaning. This was to be more than a beautiful piece of fabric. It would become a sacred covering—a place where someone could quiet her heart, breathe deeply, and spend time in the secret place with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Each shawl is created as a reminder that we do not have to strive our way into God's presence. We are already invited. We can come just as we are, wrap ourselves in His love, and rest.
What began as a shawl became the beginning of Sacred Rest: a place where the material and the spiritual meet, and where fabric becomes an invitation to encounter the heart of the Father.
The Hexagon
Why a hexagon?
The hexagon represents harmony between the material and the spiritual. It is also associated with transformation—what can happen when we enter God's presence and allow ourselves to be surrounded by who He is.
Each of the shawl's six sides represents an aspect of the Father in which we can immerse ourselves:
The Father's Character
His goodness and faithfulness reveal who He is.
The Father's Kingdom
His presence invites us into a reality greater than what we can see.
The Father's Provision
He knows what we need and cares for us completely.
The Father's Protection
We are safe beneath the covering of His love.
The Father's Forgiveness
His mercy releases us from shame and welcomes us home.
The Father's Guidance
His voice gently leads us along the path prepared for us.
The Seventh Side
A hexagon has six sides, but the Sacred Rest Shawl is not complete until it is wrapped around someone.
You are the seventh side.
The six sides represent the Father's character, Kingdom, provision, protection, forgiveness, and guidance. As you sit beneath the shawl, you are invited to immerse yourself in who He is—to quiet your heart, release your striving, and simply be with Him.
Seven represents divine completion and sacred rest. That completion is found as we come to know the Father and learn to rest in His presence. It is not about having all the answers or becoming perfect. It is the wholeness that grows through relationship—knowing that we are loved, welcomed, and safe with Him.
The shawl becomes a sacred meeting place: six sides revealing the Father, and the seventh side—you—resting quietly beneath His covering.
The Mission
Sacred Rest exists to restore rest to its sacred place.
In a world that continually asks us to do more, carry more, and become more, each shawl offers a gentler invitation:

Every Sacred Rest Shawl is made to order, thoughtfully created for the person who will receive it, and prayed over throughout the process. Fabrics, colors, and details are chosen with care so that each shawl carries its own beauty and meaning.
These shawls are created to become personal sacred spaces—places to pray, listen, grieve, heal, dream, or simply sit quietly with God.
Our mission is not only to place a shawl around someone's shoulders. It is to help her enter the secret place and remember that she is already surrounded by the Father's presence.
